FIQAS and collection & credit management
Strictly speaking, ‘collection & credit management’ is not a specific industry for FIQAS in the sense of ‘a specific group of organisations that offer similar products or services and therefore need comparable, specific software applications’. This is the result of the fact that the basic principles of collection & credit management - despite differences in practical approaches - apply to almost all organisations involved in debtor management and payment collection.

Despite this, FIQAS has a clear vision of collection & credit management as a discipline, and translates this into usable systems and applications. Naturally, this vision is based on the general vision that FIQAS implements with all its products and services: ‘Adaptability is the key to success.’

From FIQAS’ perspective, conventional credit management systems are often used too reactively, from the vision that credit management is an isolated process, as a final entry for other operational processes. FIQAS on the other hand sees credit management as an integrated and pro-active process that starts before the first invoice has been sent. This insight convinced FIQAS to combine its Connection® CRM product line, aimed at advanced relationship management, with principles from the successful FIQAS product lines in the fields of billing and collection.

The result of this combination is the new FIQAS Adapt® Collection CRM product. The system offers the best possible combination of CRM principles, financial processes and reporting. The application, based on the new FIQAS Adapt® technology, consists of a user-friendly web interface for end users, whereby embedded workflow ensures the support of the required operational processes. Application managers have the option of configuring the system to suit their custom requirements. This means that workflows, reports and screens can be created or modified as needed, without any need for software development.
